A Jalingo-based Journalist and APC Stakeholder, Ben Adaji, has disclosed that Nigeria has experienced growth with little development.

Adaji, who made the disclosure on Friday in an interview with Newsmen in Jalingo, said the nation had experienced population growth which was one of the indices in measuring economic growth.

“The increasing revenue generation and allocation, which had kept increasing since independence is another parameter in measuring economic growth”, he said.

He, however, undermined national development in the area of education/ literacy rate, doctors/ patient ratio, per capital income and employment rates among others.

“Nigeria was still battling with basic necessities of live at 61; I wonder when the country would address such challenges and face technological advancement.

He pointed out that kidnapping, terrorism, banditry were alien to the Nigerian society as some of the militating factors affecting the nation’s development.

“I urge Nigerians to uphold patriotism against self agrandisement for corruption was conceptualized and imbedded by selfish Nigerians who did not want Nigerian society to grow”, he added.

He called on Leaders to curtail ugly security situation in the country and advised the people to unite and fight for the common goals of realizing the Nigeria of’ our dream.
