Breaking: Supreme Court affirms Bala Mohammed as Bauchi State gov.

CHIGOZIE IKPO, Abuja

The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Bala Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the Governor of Bauchi State

The Apex Court upheld the decision of the Appellate court which dismissed the appeal filed by by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar.

Delivering the Lead Judgement, Justice Ibrahim Mohammed Saulawa dismissed the Appeal for lack of merit.
