Abia state chairman of PDP Promises To Conduct Free ,fair and credible primary election in Abia

The Abia state Chairman of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP)  Rt. Hon Alwell Asiforo has reiterated the resolve of the party to conduct free,fair and credible primary elections in the state .

Asiforo who made this known when one of the Abia gubernatorial aspirants for 2023 general election, Engineer Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor visited the party Secretariat to inform party members of his intention to run for the Governorship position in 2023.

 

The State chairman who was represented by his vice chairman comrade Obinna Nwachukwu maintained that the leadership of the party under Rt Hon. Asiforo must conduct free ,fair and credible election.

 

According to him,” we want to assure you that the leadership of this party must conduct a free ,fair and credible primary election.

 

” I am assuring you on behalf of the chairman that in this party, we are very mindful of the face that will fly our ticket ,show capacity and win the election”

 

He further expressed appreciation to Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor for all the good works he has been doing to PDP and the things he would do .

 

Earlier,Engr Enyinnaya Nwafor said he was at the party Secretariat to declare his intention to contest for Abia Governorship election in 2023 and that he is very passionate about Abia state, adding that he wants to bring on board practical governance.

He pointed out that as a young man and field Engineer, he has come to build Abia of our dream, saying that 95% of his investments are in the state.

 

He further assured that he does not need to hire a consultant to construct quality roads in the state, having been a field engineer with many years experiences .

 

He said his administration will have great packages in the areas of road construction, infrastructure development, job creation , payment of workers salaries  Health , education among other things, while promising not to disappoint the party if given the opportunity.
