In a remarkable display of solidarity and commitment to women empowerment, Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Mrs. Josephine Piyo, joined a delegation of Female Deputy Governors on a courtesy visit to the First Lady, Sen Oluremi Tinubu.

The delegation engaged in conversations centered on women empowerment, gender equality and the challenges faced in education, healthcare and economic empowerment of women and youths.

During the courtesy visit, the delegation underscored the importance of investing in children, recognizing them as the future of Nigeria.

To actualize this shared vision, the delegation pledged unwavering support and close collaboration with the government to create a supportive and conducive environment for women to thrive and excel in all facets of life.

Reaffirming her commitment to the cause, the First Lady graciously assured the delegation of her unwavering dedication towards protecting the rights of women and children.

She also highlighted the urgent need for assistance in rehabilitating individuals displaced by the crisis in Plateau State.
