Onnoghen’s office sealed, staff ejected by mobile police

Security operatives on Monday reportedly sealed off the office of the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen.

The agents stormed the office located at the Supreme Court premises on Monday morning, even as staff members were ejected.

A police source, who spoke to newsmen on the development, stated that the police did not send any contingent or mobilised any of its personnel to the office, but that it could be an internal security arrangement within the Supreme Court.

Effort made to reach the spokesperson of police, Frank Mba was futile as he was not picking up his calls and didn’t return text message sent to his phone at the time of filing this report.
