Nnamdi Kanu:  Ohanaeze urges Buhari to embrace political solution

The Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Mr Chiedozie Alex Ogbonnia, has restated that President Buhari okaying Political solution to the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was a welcome Development.

Mr Ogbonnia said though Buhari in the interview with Channels Television said he is indisposed to the release, Political solution envisaged that the problem of IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu for it to end revolves around it.

‘if the President has okayed Political solution, it is a mid-way to the solution, because with it  will be able to achieve what we want

All this are interwoven , by the time we achieve political solution, the issue of release will be secondary. By the time we are able to strike a deal with Mr President on what is termed political solution, the other one is just to make it up

On the issue of State Police, Ohanaeze Ndigbo image maker insisted that South-East Governor’s and Ohanaeze Ndigbo will meet with President Buhari on the need for State Security to complement Federal Police .

We have said severally that security is a collective responsibility, what is clear is that the Central Police can not contain the crime wave in Nigeria*

Efforts must be made to convince the Federal Government to understand the need for State Police to complement the Federal Policing system.
