Mazi Jonas emerges ADP guber candidate in Abia

Mazi Chibuike Jonas has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Abia State for the 2023 general elections.

Mazi Jonas who was a former Chairman of Arochukwu Local Government Area (LGA) emerged as the consensus candidate of the party at its convention held in Abia State.

Speaking after he was announced as the party candidate, Jonas thanked members for their support.

He promised to restore the lost glory of Abia, stressing that the state had been badly managed over the years.

According to him, nothing is working in the state, including infrastructure.

“I know that my being here today is of God. I will work the way God expects us to work and ensure payment of salaries because a labourer deserves his wage.

“I am here not to be a ruler but to serve and to bring back development in Abia,” he said.

For a better society
