Ebonyi at 25: Umahi condemns insecurity in S’East

.Says It’s a total war against people 

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has condemned the prevalent insecurity in the South-East insisting that the menace was a total war against the people of the zone.

In a similar vein, the State Chief Executive has declared that the sit-at -home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra was a ploy to destroy the economic potentials of the south east .

Umahi made the  assertion at the Government House abakaliki the Ebonyi State capital on Thursday in an address to mark the 25th Anniversary of the state and the nation at 61.

The Governor commended the people on the historic 25th anniversary of the State creation and the 61th Independence of the country.

The State Chief Executive reiterated that

the dangers of sit at home order are well known maintaining that it was deceit.

*Governor’s is ready to dialogue with the youths, leaders have taken up what ever they said , Ohaneze and Governor’s Forum are ready to address the issues*

Umahi urged the people to disregard this sit at home, nobody is against agitation, it is natural, but we are against killing somebody .

Umahi appealed to the people to put an end to this killings, on behalf of the governor’s I appeal that this should come to a stop, restricting our people is to destroy us and I am sure our people knows that*

*We condemn the insecurity in the south east orchestrated by our people, that is tagged unknown Gunmen*
