With fancy gospels flying around in the Christiandom, things like restitution have been put at the back while Grace is place at the forefront. The need for Christians to restitute and ask for forgiveness if they offend others is more important, failure to do this means that we are wasting our time in the name of prayers.
Preaching on the importance of restitution, Bishop Blessing Samuel. A Nigerian but US based pastor and the founder of Royal Place Ministries Int’l’ USA said, “Restitution is so important that you need it for your prayers to be answered. If you lie against anybody and the person suffers loss or anything due to the singular action of yours. You first of all, you must or need to go back to the person you lied against and confess to him and tell him what you did. Failure to do that, your prayer goes nowhere.”

If you can remember in the bible, Jesus Christ told the rich man to sell all he had and give (restitute) to the poor.
As a Christian, If you lie against somebody and the person lost his job or go to prison because of you and you go secret praying to God for forgiveness without apologizing to the person, your prayer will go nowhere. Until the person forgives you Heaven will not forgive you.
Restitution is also going back to the medium that you used to communicate and say that you were wrong. Making Wrong Right.

Bishop Blessing popularly known as The ‘Corrosive Bishop’ reiterated that If you are the cause of somebody’s pain, go to the person and seek for forgiveness because one-day the blood of the person will cry against you.
Restitution is a spiritual law, it is important and it sets us free once we restitute and make our prayers to be answered.
