The leadership of the Jagaban Support Group (JSG) in alliance with The Progressive Institute (TPI) has secured the endorsement and aporoval of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for a nationwide grassroots mobilization and empowerment programme ahead of 2027.
The groups paid a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda at the weekend, where they presented their flagship two Million Youths and Women Virtual Training and Empowerment Proposal.
In a statement issued after the meeting, National Coordinator of JSG2027, Otunba Arc. Abimbola Olasanmiju, said the proposal received full endorsement as a key mobilisation vehicle for the Renewed Hope Agenda 2027.
He described the endorsement as a major milestone that positions JSG/TPI at the forefront of grassroots engagement, skills development, and political mobilisation in the lead-up to the next general elections.
According to him, the virtual training programme is designed to equip two million youths and women across the 36 states and the FCT with relevant skills, civic education, and tools for political participation.
Otunba Olasanmiju urged members of the group to return to their wards and local government areas to begin sensitisation and implementation of the mandate.
“The journey has just begun. Let us return to our wards and LGAs to deliver on this mandate,” he said, adding that the initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
