2023: Sen. Tinubu stands only politician to succeed Buhari -Hon. Ade

The former Governor of Lagos State and leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been described as the only politician with the best resume to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

An APC Chieftain and Organizing Secretary of Tinubu Organization for 2023 in Taraba State, Hon. Audu Ade, stated this while speaking to journalists in Jalingo, the state capital.

He said  Asiwaju stood out as one of the politicians that could consolidate on the next level milestones of President Buhari administration if given the mandate.

“You know there was an agreement between Tinubu, President Buhari and other stakeholders which we may not know but they as Elders and leaders of our great party, the APC  know what is on the ground and what I want to appeal to the Jagaban is he should emulate President Buhari to carry everyone along  irrespective of tribal, ethnic and religion for the development of Nigeria.

“Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a man of integrity who played a vital role in forming the APC that brought the present administration of Baba Buhari and also uniting members of the party and by extension, Nigeria as a nation.

” Therefore, Tinubu is able and capable to run for the Presidency in 2023, which we are very optimistic that he will build from where President Muhammadu Buhari will stop because I believe everybody knew the development he had brought to Lagos State when he was the Governor and also a Senator as well”, Ade pointed out.

He disclosed that  choosing the Former Acting Governor of Taraba State, Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi, as the leader of the Tinubu organization in the state was a clear indication of Asiwaju’s victory in 2023 going by his political track records.

“Our leader of Tinubu organization in Taraba in the person of Sen. Sani Abubakar Danladi was a former Senator, former Deputy Governor and former Acting Governor is working tirelessly and would not rest until the set goal is achieved for ensuring that the Jagaban becomes the next President of Nigeria.

According to Ade, who recently resigned as a Senior Special Adviser to Governor Darius Ishaku and dumped the ruling PDP in the state and returned to his party, the APC, explained that presently, besides APC members, a lot of people from other political parties have indicated interest and readiness to join the train in support of Tinubu to run for 2023 Presidential election because he has chosen Sen. Sani Danladi as a leader of the movement.

He described Danladi as a person of integrity and a highly influential not only in Taraba politics but in Nigeria at large who treats people irrespective of tribal or religious sentiments.

Hon. Audu Ade, however, enjoined Nigerians to carry the movement as a collective task and support the Presidential ambition of Sen. Bola Tinubu in 2023 for a better Nigeria.

He, therefore, commended the leader of the movement in Taraba State, Sen. Danladi for his commitment toward ensuring that the dream of Tinubu to succeed President Buhari comes true.

Commenting on the recent APC local government congresses claimed by some individuals that it was done based on consensus, Hon. Ade described it as a kangaroo because many people who spent their money and purchased forms indicated  interests in various positions but unfortunately, they were not considered.

The organizing Secretary of Tinibu organization in Taraba State in his words, said:  “We are against the imposition of candidates and am calling on Senator Yusuf Abubakar Yusuf, who is now the leader of APC in the state to use his wealth of experiences as a man of integrity to call on those who are trying to destroy the party structure in the state to order and ensure that everyone is given a level-playing ground by going for an election.

“We will follow all due process to ensure that everybody is allowed to contest as enshrined in our party’s constitution and if the Senator did not intervene and let justice be done to all, we will appear before the appeal committee that would be in the state by next week and if it did not yield a positive result, then, after exhausting all internal mechanisms, we have no option than to proceed to court to seek for redress.” Hon. Ade stated.

When contacted by our correspondent, the APC state caretaker chairman, Barr. Ibrahim El-Sudi, said the congresses were done successfully through consensus.

“We held the local government congresses through a consensus and all stakeholders from various Local Government Areas have agreed and were satisfied. So, should I say we should go for election? After all, it was the directive from the National Secretariat”, El-Sudi further said.
