Unknown Gunmen change tactics target Govt facilities , uniform personnel in the South East zone

Rampaging  Unknown Gunmen in the South East geo- political zone of the country Nigeria, have changed their pattern of attacks in the zone, resorting to burning government owned facilities and brutally killing of uniformed personnel.

Recently at Oba in Idemmiri  South of Anambra State, the gunmen, burnt down the divisional police headquarters, where many other property were destroyed.

 

It was also gathered  from  eye witness account that police personnel must have been killed in that attack

 

Also in Imo state, precisely at Umuelenmiri,  the seat  of the secretariat of Isiala Mbano local government area, the gunmen, attacked  and  burnt  the secretariat along with vehicles parked at the premises.

In that attack, a police man was said to have been killed  by  the  unknown gunmen

The  hoodlums also were reported to have at the wee hours of  Tuesday, attacked and destroyed the Obowo divisional police headquarters in Obowo council area of the state.

It was gathered that the attack consumed a suspected  policeman at a popular place called NEPA junction bus stop.

However, reacting to the  incident, Imo state police command  spokesman, ASP Henry Okoye confirmed the  attacks, saying that the state command has quickly deployed it’s operatives to the affected locations to  apprehend the gunmen and other criminal elements.
