Sunderland University receives over 13,000 applicants from Nigeria in 2022 Session……. Visits Nigeria for career talk path

Sunderland Varsity in the United Kingdom (UK) hs disclosed that over 13,000 students applied for admission during the 2022 academic session, while over 9,000 applicants received it for this year alone.

The Director of International Students of the University, Mr. Ian Moody, made the disclosure during the visit of top delegates of the institution to Nigeria for a career talk path as a way of educating Nigerian students who wish to attend school in the UK in the area of career development.

Mr. Ian Moody further stated that over 3,000 Nigerian students were currently studying various courses at the University.

He said the visit was borne out of the uniqueness because Nigerian Students over the years had proved to be engaging, intellectually sound and dedicated to their area of studies.

Moody urged the students to present an authentic statement of results and other documents that may be required, as this will go a long way to facilitate their admission in due cause.

“We have been coming to Nigeria for years now, we got good aluminum from across Nigeria that is doing great well. We encourage Nigerian students to apply because they gave great energy, are so engaging, and are highly intelligent, this goes a long way to encourage some other international students around the globe to perform better.”

“Presently, we have over 3,000 thousand Nigerian students studying at university of Sunderland, while we recorded over 13thpousand student applicants from the Nigeria during the 2022 session with over received this session 2023.

“Our students graduate with practical skills, and educational skills to come back to Nigeria to provide a solution to every challenge that might need their professional solutions”, he stated.

The career talk path which covers the Visa application process, course of study, the school environment and others was held in Lagos.
