The Executive Secretary/CEO, Lagos State Security Trust Fund Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun encourages Nigerians to embrace peace and the spirit of patriotism as we celebrate Nigeria at 61 and remind ourselves of the sacrifices and labour of our past heroes who saw the potential of the unity of a diverse people and fought for her independence.

“As a Nation, we are going through hard times. The increasing security challenges we are faced with have challenged us to be more united now than ever to push for the progress of our dear country Nigeria knowing that there is no limit to what we can achieve as a diverse people with abundant human and natural resources”, Dr. Balogun said.

He added: “As an agency saddled with the responsibility to source for resources through voluntary donations to equip security agencies operating in the State with the needed logistics/equipment to fight crime and maintain law and order, the Fund encourages residents to play their part in our collective interest and support the Lagos State Security Trust Fund and the Lagos State Government to ensure we have a safe and secure State where we can all prosper”.

According to Dr. Balogun, a prosperous Lagos is a prosperous Nigeria.
