The Former National President of Trade Union Congress (TUC), Comr. Bobboi Bala Kaigama on Wednesday disclosed that with the fuel scarcity and naira Swap have shown  the incapability of the rulling All Progressive Congress APC of to rule the country.

“Look at fuel scarcity all over and the worst is lack of cash in people’s hands, you with your money, you cannot withdraw, very unfortunate.

“This is a sign that people are tired of APC and PDP, they need a party like ours.

He said that he contested for governorship in 2019 under the APC,  but couldn’t make it, adding that God’s time is the best

“APC have betrayed Nigerians, go to fuel stations No fuel, then the worst is money swap. When you go to Banks, you will not be able to cash your money. Let’s wait and see the APC would not see the light of the day for many would live the party.

According to him, the NNPP have brought new ideas.

“What would you do with Broom and Umbrella? their time has passed. The masses are tired.

“The international community have put their interest on Nigerian elections.

He assured people of his zone which consist of Gassol, Bali, Kurmi, Gashaka and Sardauna local governments, that he will actualise the dream of the Mambilla Hydro Power project.

“I will expose all those that have hands in the deals. Money is been voted yearly, where is the money going to?.

On the popourted sale of  Mambilla Tea Company by the state government, he said that the people of the Mambilla Plateau are not in support of the sale, adding that the land was donated by the people of the area for the purpose of establishing the company for the benefit of the Mambilla Plateau, Taraba State and the Country at large.

“The company is for the community. Most of the monies sustaining the company is from the sixteen local governments while the State Government has little.

“The company that makes profits why do you want to sale it?

On the naira re design  he said,

“This came at the wrong time for APC and the right time for other parties. It has deprived them from getting the next presidency. Nigerians are in pains, they will go to the polls in pains. We thank God that the APC have finished the campaign for us. Let people collect their monies, but vote us.

He advise government to reverse it’s decision for the benefit of Tarabans.

He disclose that his senatorial zone, the central Taraba is the richest in the state but least in development.

Kaigama who is the Taraba central zone senatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), was speaking on the program, (Taraba Correspondent Chapel Media Parley, The Road to 2023), said lack of competent representation from the central zone especially at the national level has made the zone the least developed in the state even as it was the richest in terms of natural resources.

According to him, the central senatorial zone of Taraba would have not just been a blessing to Taraba but to the entire Nigeria if the natural resources were harness and put to proper use. He also blamed what he described as poor representation by both the APC and PDP for being a low voice of the people especially at the national assemblies.

“My zone is the richest but least in development. It is the only senatorial zone that has not link to the national grid, a zone that has no university, a zone that has no hospital and other social amenities.

“The central zone is the richest in terms of agriculture, mineral resources and tourism but is the poorest in terms of infrastructure. At the federal character Commision, we are the least because we lack a strong voice of representation.

“I have gone round the central zone of Taraba and I have seen the cry in the faces of the people. I have served Taraba workers and have served the nation’s workers. I know the pligth of workers and how to tackle it.

“My capability as demonstrate as a TUC president, I am optimistic that the workers would support me.

Nigerians through BVAS would reject the APC because they have failed. APC has brought pains to Nigerians and we are people of intergrity and that was why I and others left the party for the NNPP. Here in Taraba, the APC did not conduct her Primary and we felt as people of intergrity that it was wise to stay clear from the party.

“May decision to represent the central zone at the Senate is to bring initiative that would impact positively in ensuring youth empowerment and attract meaningful and impacfull development for the people” Kaigama stated.

The NNPP senatorial candidate also discouraged the Taraba state government idea for the sale of the Mambila Beverages. He said the company was effectively serving the entire state as well as the host Communities so should not be sold.
