Labour Party intervention team storms Abuja

The Intervention Team, Friday, held a Townhall meeting with the Igbo Community in the Federal Capital Territory. At a meeting attended by Ndi-Eze in Council, the Leadership of Igbo Community Assemblies, the Women and Youth Groups in the six Area Councils of FCT, Ndigbo unanimously endorsed and resolved to ensure that every eligible Igbo voter in the FCT, come out to vote and to vote for Peter Obi in the 25th February 2023 Presidential Elections.

Addressing the massively attended Townhall Meeting, the Head of Intervention, Dr. Ifedi Okwenna, reminded them, that Ndigbo is the largest single voting block in FCT and should in this particular election, churn their usual apathy to voting, come out in their large numbers to vote Peter Obi/Ahmed Datti for a new Nigeria to emerge.

Ndigbo according to him should go beyond Party lines and other tendencies, to vote for Peter Obi and Ahmed Datti. Speaking at the Townhall, the Chairman of Eze-Igbo in Council, FCT, Eze Uche Egenti, assured the team that Ndigbo has since resolved to ensure a massive turnout on election day also to vote for Peter Obi and Ahmed Datti. He stated that Ndigbo in FCT and indeed, in the 19 Northern State, where he also is their President, will do everything possible to enthrone a new Nigeria through Peter Obi.
