APC LG Congress : Umahi assures of no imposition of Candidates

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has assured party faithfuls of the All Progressive Congress (APC), that there would be no imposition of Candidate during next Saturday Local Government Congress in the State.
In a similar vein, Umahi has threatened to sack any Civil Servant that fails to report to duty on Monday, under the guise of observing the Sit-at-Home Order by the proscribed Indigenous People’s of Biafra (IPOB).
Umahi made the assertion in abakaliki the State capital on Sunday during the  Stakeholders meeting of the All Progressive Congress (APC),
He commended the State APC Caretaker Committee for their performance during the last Ward Congress of the Party describing it as a clear unification of the Party.
According to him, “harmonisation will be tested, where it fails there will be election, there will be no imposition of Candidates”
Umahi threatened to sack any Civil Servant that fails to report to duty on Monday. under the guise of obeying  Sit at Home Order.
“By Monday, any Civil Servant that did not go to work ceases to be a civil servant, security agencies must take note”
“The Sit-at-Home Order is the highest level of foolishness by the people of the south east, a lot of Federal Ministries have placed Ebonyi State on Red Alert”
He said that the on-going Airport embarked upon by the State Government when completed would be handed over to the Federal Government for Concession .
“Even the Airport we are building will be handed over to the Federal Government for Concession, we will partner with the Federal Government, we get Agreement, we bring it to the State Executive Council before forwarding it to the House of Assembly”
“By the celebration of our 7th Anniversary, we will land at the Airport,”
Earlier in a remark, the Chairman of APC Caretaker Committee in Ebonyi State Mr Stanley Emegha, said that the meeting was convened to brainstorm on the forth coming Local Government Congress slated for next Saturday.
“We are here because of the forth coming Local Government Congress, I want to commend all of us for the display of maturity during the last Ward Congress of the Party”
In attendance during the All Progressive Congress (APC) meeting included former National Assembly members, the member representing Ezza South and Ikwo Federal Constituency in the House of Representative Hon Chinedu Ogah, the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly Hon Francis Nwifuru, Senator Julius Ucha, members of the State House of Assembly. youth Organization among others.
