The Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, has embarked on his annual vacation, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and commitment to the people of Bayelsa.

According to a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Doubara Atasi, Senator Ewhrudjakpo will utilize the period of his vacation to attend to personal family matters, fulfill some religious obligations, and undergo his routine annual medical check-up.

Senator Ewhrudjakpo expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God for His mercies and protection over the years, as well as to Governor Douye Diri for the privilege of working alongside with him. He also thanked the people of Bayelsa for their unwavering support, prayers, and confidence in him throughout his tenure.

The Deputy Governor acknowledged that his vacation may cause some inconvenience, but assured that it was a necessary break to enable him to return refreshed and ready to tackle the challenges of governance with renewed vigor.

Senator Ewhrudjakpo will resume work on September 16, 2024, ready to continue his selfless service to the people of Bayelsa State.

As Deputy Governor, Senator Ewhrudjakpo has played a crucial role in supporting Governor Diri’s administration, working tirelessly to promote the welfare and development of Bayelsa State.

His annual vacation is a well-deserved break, allowing him to recharge and refocus on the tasks ahead.
