…as Tomopolo donates 30 vehicles

Ahead of the 2027 general election, the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, Governor Ademola Adeleke and other political leaders have inaugurated a 10,000-member door-to-door canvassing team to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.
The inauguration, held at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Osogbo, on Saturday, brought together prominent political figures across party lines, including APC leaders, members of Adeleke-led administration and representatives of the Niger Delta political bloc, in a demonstration of their commitment to building a broad-based coalition to secure a second term for President Tinubu.
Speaking at the inauguration, Oyetola who was represented by the 2026 Osun State APC guber candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, described the inauguration as a significant step towards securing Tinubu’s re-election, noting that the President’s support base was expanding beyond the traditional boundaries of the APC.
He said the growing support for Tinubu across political parties and individual interests demonstrated recognition of the importance of continuity and sustaining the administration’s reforms and development programmes.
He commended High Chief Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tomopolo), for supporting the initiative for his nationwide advocacy for re-election of President Tinubu.
He said “There is no doubt that the presidential campaign of President Tinubu is highly visible and increasingly gaining momentum across the Southwest. This gives us an enormous responsibility to ensure that the Southwest delivers overwhelming votes for our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming general election.
“I am particularly impressed by the massive mobilisation of the APC structure for today’s inauguration. Our target of mobilising 1.5 million votes for President Tinubu in Osun is achievable if we approach the assignment with unity, discipline and determination.
“I charge you to approach this assignment with sincerity, discipline and an unwavering commitment to the cause. Shun hypocrisy, political pretense and complacency.”
Also, Adeleke who was represented by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, described the gathering as a demonstration of unity of purpose among political stakeholders, irrespective of their party affiliations, adding that the coalition was formed specifically to secure the President’s re-election.
He urged members of the coalition to put aside previous political disagreements and work together to achieve the presidential campaign target.
Earlier, the National Coordinator of PBAT Door-to-Dooor, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi, encourage voters to collect their PVC and deliver the state’s two million votes for President Tinubu irrespective of political party affiliation.
The Managing Director of Tantita Security Service Nigeria Limited Representing Government Owoizidei Ekpemupolo or Oweizidei Thomas Ekpemupolo), Dr Kestin Pondi, said “We are not just coming to inaugurate, we are also bringing to you 30 campaign vehicles mounted with speakers and generators and amplifiers to make the campaign work very easily.
“Our message to you today is simple, It’s to come and join you in Osun, We know that President Bola Tinubu is Osun and Osun is President Bola Tinubu.We have come to you today to inaugurate the PBAT door-to-door movement Osun State Chapter.
“We believe in the man’s reformation agenda and we believe that the man is what Nigeria needs at this point in time.Our economy is stable. People are now coming to invest in Nigeria as against why people were removing their money from Nigeria before he assumed office.”
“We know that you are already going to vote for the man who is moving Nigeria forward. But what we are going to tell you is that we don’t want your vote to be less than 90%. We want you to give him as much as the votes you have. If you can’t give him 100%, don’t let them go below 90%.That’s why we are in Osun State today.”

Meanwhile, the Osun State Coordinator PBAT DOOR-TO-DOOR MOVEMENT, Rtr. Amb. Adeolu Olanrewaju, said, “We are assuring our National leaders that in Osun State, we will not disappoint the movement, apart from the fact that President Tinubu is a son of the soil, we are assuring you that every door will be touched, every stakeholders will be enlightened to convince them, not just to vote for Tinubu, but to become one of our disciples.”
The National Secretary of APC, Senator Ajibola Basiru highlighted the achievements of President Tinubu, from NELFUND loan, infrastructural drive, increased allocation, improved economy among others.
