2023: Labour Party (LP) has what it takes to win Ebonyi governorship polls- .Arc Nkwegu

The Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Ebonyi State Arc Edward Nkwegu, has restated that the party has what it takes to win the governorship seat of the state during the forthcoming general election.

Arc Nkwegu made the declaration at his campaign secretariat Abakaliki on Wednesday, while addressing party faithful, who thronged the venue to welcome him back from an official engagement in Abuja.

Apparently referring to his recent affirmation as the authentic gubernatorial candidate of the party by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Nkwegu ressured the electorate of the party victory come 2023 polls.

He outlined his  4-Point Agenda if elected to include Economic transformation, rapid industrialization, modernization of agricultural system and creation of sustainable jobs.

He said that all public, civil servants, women, vulnerable people  in the state were supporters of Labour party.

“”Labour Party (LP) has what  its takes to win the state governorship seat in Ebonyi State” “”This election is going to be based quality,  competence of persons and  capacity of candidates”

On the chances of his wining the gubernatorial seat despite the emergence of his kinsmen as governorship candidates from other parties, Arc Nkwegu reiterated that the electorates are going to vote based on their conscience”

Speaking against the preparedness of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of elections, the LP Candidate restated that the Commission has improved tremendously in its affairs.

“In Election monitoring and conduct, we believe that the Commission is prepared to do well”

Arc Nkwegu acknowledged that the country has security challenges confronting it stating that security agencies were up to the task to restore normalcy in the country.

On the series of rallies organized by several Support Groups for the party Presidential Candidate Mr Peter Obi tagged “Obi-Dients”, Arc Nkwegu emphasized that the citizens were determined to take back their country”

“Many of the challenges we face in this country, I believe that the security agencies will learn from their past and improve on what they had done before”

Arc Nkwegu enjoined security agencies to endeavour to frustrate any move that is geared towards endangering the 2023 general election.
