Nigeria — The Reigning Monarch of the United Kingdom of Atlantis, His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Solomon Winning, the Sovereign King of the United Kingdom of Atlantis, has felicitated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the Government and the good people of Nigeria on the occasion of the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
In a goodwill message personally signed by him and released on Thursday to mark the October 1st Independence Day celebration, Emperor Winning joined millions of Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to celebrate the nation’s continued existence as a united and sovereign entity.
The monarch described Nigeria’s 66-year journey since independence in 1960 as a remarkable story of resilience, courage, unity and steady progress, despite the initial and daunting challenges of nation-building, political transition, civil strife and economic uncertainties.
According to him, Nigeria has defied predictions and remained a strong, influential and respected voice on the African continent and the world at large.
“According to the monarch, Nigeria, in spite of the initial challenges of nation-building, has made tremendous progress across all layers of our national life,” the statement noted.
He stressed that the country’s greatest strength remains its unity in diversity, adding that Nigerians must continue to see their ethnic, religious and cultural differences as assets for national development rather than tools for division.
“Today, we remain indivisible, indissoluble, united and dedicated to utilizing our diversity as a source of strength rather than division,” the statement read.
Emperor Winning further prayed that as Nigeria marks this new milestone, its citizens would remain steadfast and committed to the pursuit of national aspirations built on the enduring principles of justice, peace, tolerance, equity and fair play for all.
“As we celebrate our Independence Day today, I pray that we remain committed to the pursuit of our national aspirations anchored on justice, peace, tolerance and fair play,” he stated.
The Sovereign King also used the occasion to call for sustained support and prayers for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. He commended the President for his bold and courageous economic reforms initiated over the last three years plus, noting that the policies, though initially challenging, are now beginning to yield tremendous and visible results across key sectors of the economy.
“Let us continue to support President Bola Tinubu, GCFR, especially as he gets set to submit himself again to be returned to Aso Rock to deepen the economic reforms he has initiated over the last three years plus, which today are beginning to show tremendous results across sectors,” he added.
Emperor Winning expressed optimism that with unity, patriotism and collective commitment, Nigeria is on the path to greater prosperity and global prominence.
He concluded his message with warm felicitations to all Nigerians, saying, “Happy Independence Day once again! God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
