The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, has congratulated the government and people of Anambra State on the 35th anniversary of the creation of the state.
CP Nnanna, in a goodwill message issued on Thursday, described the anniversary as a significant milestone in the history of Anambra, marked by resilience, enterprise, progress and the collective contributions of its people to the development of the state.
The Commissioner commended Ndi Anambra for their hard work, resilience and community spirit, as well as their continued support for initiatives aimed at promoting peace, security and sustainable development.
He particularly acknowledged the contributions of traditional rulers, religious and community leaders, youths, women, civil society organisations and other stakeholders for their partnership with the Nigeria Police Force in maintaining peace and security across the state.
CP Nnanna assured residents of the Command’s unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property, maintaining public safety and delivering professional, responsive and people-oriented policing services.
He urged Ndi Anambra to remain law-abiding and vigilant while continuing to support security agencies in the discharge of their responsibilities, stressing that the sustenance of peace and security was a collective responsibility.
The Commissioner called on citizens and residents to continue to promote unity, harmony and peaceful coexistence as the state enters another phase of its development.
He wished Ndi Anambra a joyous 35th anniversary celebration and expressed optimism that the collective efforts of the people would continue to drive the state towards greater peace, prosperity and sustainable development.
