The President of the eighth senate and presidential aspirant on the platform of PDP, Sen. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, says the All Progressives Congress (APC) led government has pushed Nigeria to a bad situation.
Speaking on Friday during a visit to Katsina State PDP secretariat to seek the support of the party’s chieftains for his aspiration, Saraki said the all sectors of the nation’s economy need to be saved and rescued.
He expressed concern that over 50% of Nigerian youths were unemployed amidst challenges facing every segment of the country.
He pledged: “If I become the President I will create jobs for our youths and they will have jobs. Our farmers will be able to go to their farmers. . . We will make sure our hospitals are working and nobody will pay for medical services.”
Earlier, the state PDP acting chairman, Lawal Uli, told Saraki, “we in Katsina are not unmindful of your relationship with our party leader in Katsina State, Ibrahim Shehu Shema. We will take cognizance of that relationship in our future interactions with you.”
