The All Progressives Congress (APC), has congratulated its National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka on his recognition as the “Most Outstanding Political Marketing Communicator of the Year 2026” by the Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ).
The award will be conferred on Morka at the NACJ Annual Integrity Lecture and Award Conference scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja.
The Party, in a statement signed by Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, described the honour as a fitting recognition of Morka’s stellar contribution to the articulation and communication of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led APC administration.
“As the Party’s chief spokesperson, Morka has consistently demonstrated professionalism, clarity and intellectual depth in communicating government policies, programmes and achievements.”
His communication efforts, the APC said, have helped deepen public understanding of key reforms of the Tinubu administration across economic, infrastructure development, food security, social investment, national security and investment promotion.
Beyond politics, the Party noted Morka’s nearly four decades of distinguished service in law, human rights advocacy, public policy, urban governance and democratic consolidation.
He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Social and Economic Rights Action Center, (SERAC), former Legal Officer for Africa of the Washington DC-based International Human Rights Law Group, and former Legal Director of the Civil Liberties Organisation, CLO.
The APC also highlighted Morka’s engagements with the United Nations, UNAIDS, World Bank, African Union and other global institutions, as well as his LL.M from Harvard Law School, saying these have sharpened his expertise as a political communicator and champion of the urban poor.
In 2025, his contributions to nation-building, democracy and the rule of law were further recognised when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu conferred on him the national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON.
As the APC prepares for the 2027 electioneering season, the Party expressed confidence that Morka will continue to deploy his experience and skills in framing the Party’s messaging and building greater public support for the re-election of President Tinubu.
The APC commended NACJ for recognising excellence and professionalism in political communication, noting that the 2026 Integrity Lecture and Awards Conference will bring together leaders and media stakeholders to celebrate Nigerians who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, integrity and patriotism.
