MASSOB to celebrate Ojukwu memorial day with masquerades’ display

Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, otherwise called Biafra Independence Movement, BIM, said weekend, it would celebrate Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu’s 11th memorial day on 26th of November 2022, with masquerades’ display, at Ojukwu Memorial Library, No. 2 Ralph Uwazuruike street, Area G, New Owerri, Imo State capital.
It is gathered that Ojukwu memorial day celebration is an annual celebration for members of BIM/MASSOB since 2012 and single handedly financed by Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, the leader and founder of the movement.
In a press release signed and made available to newsmen in Onitsha, Anambra State, by the Director of Information and Senior Special  Assistant to BIM/MASSOB, on Media and Publicity, Elder Chris Mocha, all are invited to come and witness the epoch making event.
The Ojukwu day celebration according to the release, would feature Ijele masquerades from Anambra state, Ikorodo masquerade from Nsukka, Enugu State and many other cultural dances from Ohafia and Abiriba in Abia state, among others.
“We wish to inform Ndigbo that the 11th edition of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Memorial Day, would be held on November 26, 2022, at Ojukwu Memorial library, No.2,  Ralph Uwazuruike Street, Area G, New Owerri, the Imo state capital”, the release read in part.
