Organizers of one of the most celebrated dance awards in Nigeria have met with a former presidential candidate and a renowned youth advocate, Prof. Chris Imumolen, where they honoured him with a hand-drawn portrait of himself.
This came ahead of the Grand Awards in Abuja, where dancers who have made significant contributions in the entertainment industry will be recognized.
With the theme, “Legacy in Motion”, the event will feature lots of dance performances from cultural, hip-hop, Afro and lots more.
It will take place on September 27, 2025, at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Meanwhile, the organizers are at an advanced stage of finalizing a partnership with Prof. Chris Imumolen Foundation on the empowerment of its members.
The convener of the dancers’ award, Mr. Shawn, has expressed optimism that the partnership will boost dance as a key aspect of entertainment in the country.
