FirstBank extols performance of FMAP graduates, reiterates commitment to employee career devt

In furtherance of its resolve to promote the career development of its staff, First Bank of Nigeria Limited has announced the graduation of 21 successful candidates in the second edition of the FirstBank Management Associates Programme (FMAP).

The graduation held on Monday 5th December 2022 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.

FMAP is a 24-month fast-track comprehensive developmental programme targeted at young, dynamic, self-motivated and highly driven individuals that possess the right skill set and excellent leadership potential among Junior and entry-level cadre staff. Entries and applications for the programme enrolment were also extended to the public.

Congratulating the 2022 FMAP graduates, Chief Executive Officer of FirstBank, Dr. Adesola Adeduntan CEO said “I commend all of you graduating today for your discipline and tenacity in going through the rigours of the programme and finishing successfully.

“It is therefore important that you maintain the zest and self-motivation that has brought you thus far, as these will come in handy as you push through the bars, breaking more grounds to make your mark in history as thorough-bred leaders.  Remember that there are no limits except the ones that you set for yourselves,” he said.

The 21 successful candidates in the second edition of the FMAP 24-month fast-track comprehensive developmental programme are moved to middle management, becoming Management Associates irrespective of their grades at the point of entry.

Cross-country postings and secondment opportunities are also offered to such staff to provide them with global exposure and network.
