The Enugu State Housing Development Corporation (ESHDC) has unveiled an exciting Independence promotional package aimed at rewarding property buyers, encouraging land ownership, and expanding investment opportunities in Enugu State. The campaign, themed “Invest Now, Own Your Own Piece of the Future,” runs from October 1 to November 15, 2026, offering prospective investors the opportunity to acquire land in government-backed estates while standing a chance to win valuable prizes. Speaking on the initiative, the Acting General Manager of ESHDC, Mrs. Adenike Okebu, said the promotion reflects the Corporation’s commitment to making property ownership more attractive, accessible, and rewarding for individuals, families, and investors.
Under the promotional package, every plot purchased within the stipulated period qualifies as one entry into the raffle draw, with the grand prize being a plot of land at Smart City Satellite Town Estate, Independence Layout Phase 2. The Corporation has also introduced special incentives for bulk buyers, with customers who purchase three plots entitled to free Certificate of Occupancy (C-of-O) documentation for one plot, while those who purchase five plots will enjoy free C-of-O documentation for two plots. Other exciting prizes include generators, television sets, solar units, microwaves, and waivers on selected ESHDC services.
Mrs. Okebu explained that the initiative is designed not only to encourage new customers to invest in land but also to appreciate existing customers who have continued to demonstrate confidence in the Corporation,with his Excellency vision is to make every Enugu indigen to be a land owner. She noted that land ownership remains a significant investment decision for individuals and families seeking long-term financial security, residential development, and wealth creation. According to her, the promotional campaign also reinforces ESHDC’s commitment to promoting planned urban development, strengthening customer relationships, and providing credible property investment opportunities backed by the government.
The grand finale of the promotional campaign is scheduled to hold on November 15, 2026, at Coal City Eastern Alliance Park by 7:00 a.m. The event will feature an estate tour, sporting activities, and the much-anticipated raffle draw, bringing together property investors, prospective buyers, and other stakeholders in the real estate sector. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the Corporation’s development projects firsthand while celebrating the conclusion of the campaign and anticipating the announcement of the lucky winners.
Interested members of the public are required to register on the ESHDC Digitalisation Portal at https://eshdc.en.gov.ng/, purchase one or more plots within the promotional period, and receive their raffle numbers upon confirmation of payment. The Acting General Manager urged residents, corporate organisations, business owners, and Nigerians in the diaspora to take advantage of the limited-time offer and secure their investments before the promotion closes. She reaffirmed the Corporation’s commitment to delivering sustainable housing solutions, encouraging investment, and creating opportunities for individuals and families to own property in Enugu State.
