Friends of Prof George Obiozo, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, who died in December 2022, will gather at the Nigeria Institute for International Affairs, Lagos to eulogize him on his life and times here.
In a statement made available to Daily Champion, Chief Goddy Uwazurike said the event will take place on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, @ NIIA, Kofo Abayomi St., Victoria Island,Lagos at 10 am.
According to ti him ‘’For those who do not know, Prof George Obiozor was an erudite scholar, Director General of the Nigeria Institute for International Affairs and Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States and the State of Israel, with concurrent accreditation to Cyprus.
He has always motivated the younger ones for which we must honor him.
