The founder of Lesson360 and renowned Nigerian entrepreneur, ESV.
Ekweoba Arnold Chukwuebuka, has been honoured with the prestigious 2026 Nelson Mandela Impact Makers Award for his contributions to real estate development, innovation, education, humanitarian service and sustainable development.
Chukwuebuka received the honour recently, during a private investiture in Abuja, where he was inducted into the Diamond Class of the award.
The recognition, organised by the Professional Public Speaking and Leadership Academy (PPSLA Africa) in partnership with the African Award Group, attracted members of the recipient’s family, associates and representatives of the organising bodies.
Speaking at the event, the Director-General of PPSLA Africa, Dr. Lotanna Okoye, in a keynote address, stressed the importance of impact-driven leadership, urging African leaders and entrepreneurs to build people, institutions and legacies that would outlive them.
According to the organisers, Chukwuebuka was selected for the award in recognition of his growing contributions to enterprise development, youth empowerment, education, innovation and social intervention.
His entrepreneurial journey began in 2015 when, as an undergraduate, he established Arnold & Associates Group.
The business has since expanded into diverse sectors, including real estate, construction, dredging, renewable energy and education technology.
In the real estate sector, Chukwuebuka has been associated with several property developments, particularly across the South-East, including Brownwood Luxury Estate, Presidential Estate, City of David Estate, Texas City, British Court, Heritage Estate and Livingstone Estate, among others.
His investment in renewable energy through Arnold & Associates Energy has also seen him venture into solar power solutions, providing alternatives amid persistent concerns over electricity supply and energy costs in Nigeria.
In the education technology space, his flagship platform, Lesson360, is designed to widen access to learning resources by leveraging digital technology to connect learners with educational content.
Beyond his commercial interests, the entrepreneur has also been involved in youth empowerment and humanitarian initiatives, with reported interventions covering employment, mentorship, business opportunities, scholarships and housing support for widows.
His activities have further extended to the preservation and promotion of Igbo language and culture.
Through digital initiatives such as 360 Akụkọ Na Egwu Igbo and Mụta Asụsụ Igbo TV, Chukwuebuka has sought to promote Igbo stories, folklore, traditional songs, language and cultural education, particularly among children and young people.
The initiatives reflect his advocacy for the use of technology to address social and cultural challenges while encouraging younger generations to reconnect with their indigenous language and heritage.
The Nelson Mandela Impact Makers Award, therefore, adds to the growing list of recognitions associated with the Anambra-born entrepreneur and inventor, whose activities have continued to cut across real estate, education, technology, renewable energy, culture, youth development and humanitarian service.
The latest honour further places a spotlight on the growing role of Nigerian entrepreneurs in driving innovation, creating opportunities for young people and contributing to sustainable development.
