The Media Department of the Church of God Mission International, Igbodo District Headquarters, has honoured the Chief Executive Officer of Uzoma Photo Ventures, Mr. Uzoma Ekene Victor, for his contributions to youth development and community service.
Uzoma received the Award of Excellence during a brief ceremony at the church’s Igbodo District Headquarters in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The award was presented by the Head of the Media Department, Mr. Uzu Godwin Chuks, who said the church decided to honour Uzoma for using his business to impact lives beyond photography.
According to Chuks, the recognition was in appreciation of Uzoma’s investment in human capacity building, youth empowerment, and his support for church and societal development.
“This Award of Excellence/Appreciation is presented to Uzoma Ekene Victor of Uzoma Photos Ventures, in recognition of your outstanding contribution to the Church and development of mankind,” Chuks stated.
“This recognition is also to encourage your contributions and investments in human capacity development, and how you have been empowering youths through your firm. We urge you not to faint but keep doing the good work.”
He further charged the awardee to remain committed to God in all his endeavours. “Put God first in all that you do, and He will continue to bless the work of your hands,” he said.
In his response, Mr. Uzoma expressed gratitude to the church for the recognition, saying it would motivate him to do more.
“I never knew that my little efforts in my business were being noticed. This award means a lot to me and it will also challenge me to step up and do more.
“By God’s grace I will try my best. As the saying goes, to whom much is given, much is also required,” he said.
The church said it would continue to identify and honour individuals whose work contributes positively to the growth of society and the kingdom of God.
