APC Presidential Rally: Tinubu, Shettima, Adamu to storm Osogbo Thursday

BLESSING AKOROWOSI, Osogbo

All is set for the presidential rally of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Osogbo, Osun State capital slated for Thursday.

The State is prepared to receive the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his vice, Kasim Shettima, national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu amongst other APC bigwigs.

A statement issued by the Spokesperson/ Chairman Media and Publicity of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in Osun state, Engr. Remi Omowaiye stated that residents and indigenes of the state are in high spirit to receive ‘the face of renewed hope for Nigeria.’

Stating the highlights of the rally, Omowaiye said the rally will hold at Freedom park in Osogbo by 11 am with Osun citizens under the leadership of Ex-Governor Adegboyega Oyetola welcoming the campaign train.

He said: “The movement and significance of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Osun is beyond partisan, ethnic of religious, coloration.

“It is a course for a more united and progressive Nigeria, a Nigerian that works for all, where all hopes shall be renewed and reenergized for.”

Omowaiye urged members and loyalists of the party to troop out in large numbers to receive the APC Presidential Candidate.

He enjoined then to abstain from all forms of trouble during and after Tinubu’s visit.
