Three persons are feared dead following a suspected rival cult attack in Otoko area of Awkuzu, (near New Jerusalem lodge) Oyi local government area of Anambra State on Sunday.
A video made available to News Express showed three men lying in tge pool of their own blood.
While one was pursued into the bush where he was shot on his cheek and hand, the second one whose body was lying on a refuse dump area had his head and neck cut off.
The video further showed some people whose hands were only shown, mocking the victims head and the cowry he wore on his dread. The voice behind the camera said, “abi, you dont hear, act now, lets see and knocked his head severally.
According to the narrator the gunmen trailed the victims to Awkuzu, where they webt on visitarion from Awka.
Meanwhile, 3 persons have been set on fire in Nnobi, Idemili South Council area of the state by unidentified persons.
According to a source, the incident took place around 5.45pm at Afor Nnobi
The situation, the source further said had created tension in and around the area.
