Facts emerged Thursday, that Federal Government, refused to release the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, because of the incessant killings and sit-at-home order, currently going on in the Southeast zone.

This disclosure was made by Prophet Prince Samuel U. Amobi, in charge of Temple of God Healing Centre, Ogidi, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State.

Fielding questions from newsmen, the cleric, who is called Signor Potey, by his admirers, stated that, “There is this fear of uncertainty by Federal Government, that if Kanu is released, the killings and sit-at-home will continue in the Southeast and possibly spread to all parts of the country.

“We should use wisdom like late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, who used his intelligence to get Independence for Nigeria and not by confrontation.

He however, reiterated that agitation for a Biafran State, is part of development and should not be seen as separation from Nigeria, stating that marginalization of the Igbo race was major cause of the agitation.

He frowned at the sit-at-home exercise stating that it is an ill wind that blows nobody good, especially the down trodden that get their daily bread only when they go out.

“Sit-at-home is causing serious hardship to us, we are just punishing ourselves and hoodlums now capitalize on that to kill, maime, and kidnap.

“They claim to be IPOB members even when IPOB had since condemned the non existent Monday sit-at-home exercise. Some rumoured that if Biafran nation is actualized that prominent people would be killed. So we are doing ourselves.

“Do you know that girls are being impregnated be cause of sit-at-home and ASSU strike. This is a problem that we created by ourselves and it is only God that will save us”
