This year birthday celebration is so special to me- Bishop Dr Chidi Anthony

This to a large extend explains the honour and inspiration bestowed on Bishop Dr Chidi Anthony, the lead pastor and founder of Kings In Christ Power Ministries Int’l’. He is also the President of ‘Pentecostal Ministers Forum’, Nigeria. A celebrated man with several astonishing achievement to his credited. Recently celebrated his 53th birthday. Clement Emmanuel captures the interview.

HOW DO YOU FEEL CLOCKING A NEW AGE HERE ON EARTH?

Clocking a new age here on earth is something to be grateful and thankful for. When I looked around and see what God has done for me, then I know it’s a Privileged to be alive and not a Right. Celebrating 53 years on earth is worth giving God the praise. There are people who could not see the daylight, they died before giving birth. There are people who lost their body before the breaking of the day But I am alive in the land of the living, not only to be alive but so healthy. I have a peaceful home, beautiful children, feeling ontop of the world. God is too faithful to fail me who has added another year to my age. It is of the Lord’s Mercy that I am not consumed because his compassion fails not, they are new every morning, Great is thy faithfulness. I am elated and excited for given me the Privileged to see another year.

HENCEFORTH, WHAT SHOULD PEOPLE EXPECT FROM YOUR NEW AGE?

Every day should be a plus, every year should equally be a plus. The impact you made in the lives of people last year should not be compared to the grace that shall be impacted this year, they are new every year. As the year goesby the more experience I become and the more the oil of God grows in my life. People should expect more from what they saw in the previous year. They should expect greater impact and uniqueness.

HOW IS YOUR BIRTHDAY SO SPECIAL TO YOU?

It is only when you don’t know what God has done in your his life that you will remain ungrateful. If you have visited hospitals you will see thousands of people who are paying millions of money to be alive. My birthday is so special to me, I need to celebrate it and appreciate my God who gave me life. It is a journey of His Grace.

HOW WOULD YOU COMPARE THE CELEBRATION OF THIS YEAR BIRTHDAY TO THE PREVIOUS YEARS?

This year’s birthday is so special compared to the previous ones though I did not celebrate it in a big hotel like the previous years. I decided to celebrate it in my house, among my families and friends. Moreso, I celebrated it with some widows and less privileged in the city of Lagos. I visited the orphanage homes, motherless children, disabled to celebrate my birthday with them. I will also be doing some give away gift items. That is why this year’s birthday is so different and Special to other years.

HOW WOULD YOU APPRECIATE THOSE WHO IDENTIFY WITH YOU ON YOUR BIRTHDAY?

Most of them surprises me. There was no announcement for my birthday yet some ladies and gentlemen of the press came to grant me Interviews, some comedians visited me, members of Pentecostal Ministers Forum (PMF),and some influential personalities honored me on my birthday. I am personally showing my appreciation to everyone. God will continue to bless them. Celebration shall always be their portion. Most of them surprises me with cash and showered me with gifts. Some of my pastors friend created a platform for my birthday. I can’t mention all but God who sees in secret will reward them openly in Jesus name. Oh my God, it will be a great sin if I don’t mention my wife, Nkiru Anthony, I do call her my babe. She is a woman of God, a prayerpacked woman, a gift to the body of Christ and the most beautiful woman on earth, blessed be the day I found her. I am grateful to God. May His name be praised.
