How and when the dream started can’t be said for certain, but what can be recalled with certainty is that prior to the advent of the school, private secondary schools of international repute were non existent in the state.

If at all they were, the standard was nothing to write home about.  Today, Topfaith International secondary school has carved a niche for itself growing in leaps and bounds with the tap root deep enough to cover Montessori, creche and the trunk high enough to reach what is now called Topfaith University.

Even though Topfaith University has not started to churn out its products yet it is believed when it does, such products, like those of Topfaith International secondary school, would be of world class standard. The reason is simple, a lion can’t give birth to a goat.

While the policy is taking tolls on student populations of other private secondary schools across the state shrinking to nadir, that of Topfaith International secondary school has continued to be on the rise.

What is responsible for this uprising is only known to one man and that man is Dr. Emmanuel Thomas Abraham, the son of a carpenter, a great scholar and a visionary leader who has defied the rule of roost called ethnicity and throws doors of this citadel of academic excellence open to all lovers of education and good things, irrespective of their social cum financial standing.

Hear him: “I wouldn’t want to use the word uprising, rather, I want to use the concept that is easy to understand.  It is the concept I call product differentiation and of course, product has its own content, it has its own contrast, appearance and functionality. What we are trying to do is make our educational system a product.

“We create our product embellishing it with contents. We make sure our philosophy is functional, dynamic and holistic. That is why we keep saying that our own mission is total quality education. Our aim is developing and nurturing our students for global relevance, so we try as much as possible to touch every dimension of the cradle, from the Montessori, creche, primary, secondary to the University.

“We have a distinguished and distinctive philosophy of educating the mind of the learner and we expose our resource persons to appreciate the fundamentals and the process of nurturing our children.

“Pedagogy, yes we must not omit it but we have to impose pedagogy with functionality so that whatever is in the child is drawn out which in itself  ‘educare’ or education. So what you see is enjoy is a concept of product differentiation.

“Stakeholders see us as a differentiated product who have a peculiar characteristic in our own production that makes the output comparatively different from the general system. And this makes our products possible to explore and exploit the world on global basis of 21st century dynamics.”

In an era academic curricula of most universities in the country have fallen short of expectations in the now technological and innovation driven environment, Topfaith University has come to fill gap.
