Head Hausa Community in A’Ibom Charges Muslims to live In Peace with Indigenes, Other Residents.

Sadauki who described Islam as a religion of peace, however averred that any true Muslim who practices what Prophet Muhammad taught while on Earth can’t be a threat to peace.

 “Anyone who engages in violence is not a true Muslim. And I want to use this chance to call on those who may think they can hide under the cloak of Islamic religion to perpetrate crimes of any kind to think twice and retrace their steps before the law of nemesis catches up with them,” he warned.

Sadauki, who is also the chairman Akwa Ibom state council of Isamic Affairs commended the government and people of Akwa Ibom state for their peaceful disposition and pledged the continued and unalloyed support of Muslim community to the state.

On the sighting of moon which almost generated controversy as the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad was said to have had a bit of difficulty in his sight, the chairman attributed it to bad weather. However, he was grateful to Allah that the bad weather not withstanding, the head of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs in Nigeria was able to perform this religious rite, hence the holding of the celebration on that Monday.

Alhaji Sadauki, flanked by Chief Imam of Uyo Central Mosque, Alhaji Bello and a few other members of the Mosque hierarchy, pleaded with Governor Udom Emmanuel to intervene on the poor sanitary condition of the environment around the mosque which if nothing urgent is done could breed epidemic.

Enjoining his Muslim brethren in the state to go about their businesses peacefully to sustain the already existing peace, the SA to the governor on projects monitoring, Emmanuel Ogbole thanked the Governor for providing  them with what he termed “something” to  break the fast.

Ogbole, who is the chairman of Arewa Community in Akwa Ibom state, also used the opportunity to express gratitude to Indigenes of the state for providing a peaceful ambience to not only the Hausa Community, but also other non Indigenes to do their businesses in the state.

Presenting his Salah message to over 5,000 faithful at Uyo Central Mosque, the chief Imam who spoke mainly in Arabic and  Hausa, harped on the need to sacrifice to Allah freely for his blessings. He joined all previous speakers to admonish Muslim faithful to co exist harmoniously with other religions in peace.
