Soldiers providing security in Enugu State for the Governoship and House of Assembly elections have arrested 140 thugs allegedly deployed for today’s election.
A source, who disclosed this on condition of anonymity said that the hoodlums were picked up at the popular Carollina hotel Nsukka.
Weekend Champion also gathered that another three hoodlums were arrested at INEC office Nsukka.
The suspects were reportedly all armed with weapons including AK47 rifles and they confessed to have been deployed by a party chieftain in the area.
