Those in custody are Iyobor Victor, Osas Agamwonyi, Nosa Owie and Edet Etukudo according to Africa Independent Television (AIT) reports monitored in Lagos.

The police identified them as an armed robbery gang terrorising the Temboga axis of Ikpoba hill, Benin city.

The Edo Police Public Relations Officer, Chidi Nwabuzor said the suspects were arrested in connection with the robbery that took place on February 14 and March 8 2023, at a house around Temboga.

Police said the robbers operated at about 1:00 am on February 14, 2023.
