“Some are born great,

Some achieve greatness;

And others have greatness thrust upon them.” – William Shakespeare

The question of whether great leaders were born or acquired or attained greatness by application of factors, has always posed a throbbing and cerebral puzzle at several fora.

Different schools of thought have been polarized in their opinions and postulations about this knotty and crucial discourse.

It is equally germane for one to ask questions about the raison d’etre for the uncommon zest and frenzied effort by the informed segment of the society about leadership impeccabilities. That the leadership question is a topic which more often than not dominate public discourses is an aphorism that is quite indubitable.

Leadership of course, is a very crucial aspect of humanity. In fact it is the pivot on which every aspect of human activity revolve.

Many firms, corporations, religions and traditional institutions have fared very well due to the ingenuity and prowess of its leaders.

In a similar vein, there is this unfortunate scenario where legions of disheveling and disgusting snafus in our societies are blamable to poor and inefficient leadership.

That many societies have been able to drive the course of their ships, navigate successfully through the labyrinth of societal intractable challenges is equally cheering.

The full question now is: are these great leaders born or made?

Abinitio, arguments have been didactically in torrents in support or confutation of both sides.

Hon. Princess Chinwe Nnabuife, is an astute, thorough-bred political egghead who hogged national limelight and international stardom through hard work, diligence and sincerity of purpose. Her sublime ascension to stardom and general acceptability by her people did not come as a fluke. She endeared herself to the people through pragmatic demonstration of some uncommon humane and urbane traits: community philanthropy, human development.

Hon. Chinwe Nnabuife is a woman of many parts. How? People sing her doxology in various ways; the way they were being touched by the amiable Princess. Essentially, there is a commonality in the various ascriptions to the affable leader. She loathes being indifferent and insouciance at seeing people suffering.

Hon. Princess Chinwe Nnabuife is one great leader who has not enjoyed media publicity due to her self-effacing mien and humble disposition.

Personally, I do not regale in idol worshiping, vain glory or undeserved flattery, nor do I engage in any form of unproductive, loquacity. If incorruptibility and self-less service is not extolled, mediocrity is therefore promoted and condoned.

Chinwe Nnabuife is the Young Progressive Party’s candidate for the Orumba North and South Federal Constituency at the 2023 general election.

Her dogged determination to clinch the leadership position is hinged on the premise that one can have the whole good intentions in the world but cannot do much except if he or she is saddled with leadership position.

Her tortuous journey to political stardom started like a little fire with humble beginning. Luck did not smile on her at the 2019 general election, where it was obvious that the people’s mandate were being robbed through political ambush and subtle political shenaniganism. An election she clearly won, but was denied.

However, there is now a well-coordinated outcry and yelling for the “Woman of Substance” to emerge as the winner at the 2023 polls. The strategies are very formidable. Youths, women, intelligentsia, bland and timid masses are yearning for Nnabuife, who obviously had exhibited demonstrable competence in different tasks she has hitherto handled. Many interest and advocacy groups are joining forces to enthrone this leader of immense repute.

One of the most interesting and intriguing part of it is her current endorsement by the Igbo People’s For Good Governance. A staunch member of the group, who also doubles as the Director of Mobilization, Nnabuife Progressive Alliance (NPA), Mr. Ifeanyi Okechi (aka Poto), assured that more concerned and informed members of the society across the senatorial district had expressed and pledged unswerving support and solidarity for Nnabuife’s ambition.

An uncommon bridge builder across the diverse socio-political persuasions, she has a knack and penchant for listening which makes it easy for her to accommodate all shades of opinion and leaning.

Her mercuriality, grueling ascent to political firmament smacks of a leader on a dynastic conquistadorial political voyage.
