An aspirant for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat from Epe constituency I, Engr Kehinde Kadri-Edu is organizing a digital training for youths in conjunction with Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu (BOS) Foundation and other partners.
The event which is slated for 29th to 30th January, 2022 will take place at Epe Jubilee Chalet, Epe where youths are expected to bring along laptops or internet phones.
The training is geared towards unlocking digital skills in youths in order to enhance their entrepreneurial empowerment.
The converner of the training, Kadri-Edu popularly referred to as KK believes with the empowerment of youths, it would guarantee their economic and social wellbeing.
This initiative by Kadri-Edu is in line with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s cardinal objective agenda of THEMES.
In a pamphlet to sensitize the youth, the convener pointed out, “Your smart phone is a global market,” a strong indication to liberate the youths from the shackles of unemployment.

Recall that the BOS Youth Cup, a football competition for youths under 21 years across all councils within the State, organized the event in 2021 to curb restiveness and promote sports and youth development in the State.
The Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association Technical Committee, Mr. Dotun Coker, said during the tournament that the BOS Youth Cup had been well accepted by the target youths. He said the turn-out of young people for the competition at every location was encouraging.
According to Coker, the BOS Youth Cup was one of the events for grassroots football development, noting that professionals were not allowed to play in the tournament that it is strictly for participants who are residents of a local government.
Coker disclosed that some scouting agencies and corporate organisations within and outside Nigeria would be involved in the BOS Youth Cup tournament for football development and academic scholarship to players participating in the competition to bring glory to themselves, families, local governments and the State at large.
