Adamawa 2023: I will sack you from office, Binani tells Fintiri

The senator representing Adamawa central zone, senator Alshatu Binani, who won governorship ticke on the platform of All Progressive Congress APC had advised Governor Ahmadu Fintiri,to prepared his handover note, pointing out that there will be no hiding place for him come 2023.

The senator who spoke to ournalists yesterday in Yola,  said that her party the All Progressive Congress ( (APC) must recover it mandate from the People’s Democratic party (PDP) in the state for the development of Adamawa.

Binani who defeated former governor Mohammadu Bindow,Nuhu Ribadu and three other contestants at the primary election, said that there is nothing that can stop her from pushing Fintiri out of government house come 2023.

She called on women and friends of democracy and good government proponents to team up with her to rescue the state from the claws PDP to enable the move forward for the benefits of women and youth in the state.

Senator Binani stated that her government, if elected will set pace for development, women and youth involvement in leadership position as a template for good leadership.

In his reaction to Binani victory at the primary election , the Secretary to the government of the federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha, vowed that there is nothing on earth that will stop his party from taking over power from People’s Democratic party (PDP) government under Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

“I’m going to give you all the support you needed to win the election, physically I will go round the state to campaign for you and I will provide all the logistics that can enable you to win the election. From today PDP should start counting it days , there will be nothing like PDP again in Adamawa state after the general elections,” he said.

Mustapha who called on all other contestants to team up with Binani to rescue the state from PDP, pointed out that only a united house can win election.

Binani is the first female to win governorship ticket since the creation of Adamawa state.
