Pastors, church members, family members, friends, associates, and well-wishers gathered on Wednesday at RCCG Word of Life Parish, Redemption Camp, Mowe, Ogun State, to celebrate with Rotarian Jude Aledare and his family during the naming ceremony of their newborn son, Master Oluwadunsin.
The joyous occasion was marked by prayers, thanksgiving, and the formal christening of the child after which he was presented to family members and guests. The ceremony attracted a large turnout of loved ones who came to share in the family’s happiness and offer blessings for the child’s future.
Speaking during the event, Rotarian Jude Aledare, a member of the Rotary Club of Ibadan Bodija Estate, expressed gratitude to God for the gift of a child and thanked guests for their support, prayers, and presence at the special occasion.
The ceremony featured heartfelt prayers for the child and his parents, as well as moments of celebration that reflected the strong bonds of friendship, faith, and family unity shared by those in attendance.
The Aledare family also appreciated the pastors, church members, guests, friends, and relatives who took time out of their busy schedules to celebrate with them.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Rotarian Aledare said:
“With hearts filled with gratitude, we sincerely appreciate everyone who took the time to attend and grace the naming ceremony of our beloved son, Master Oluwadunsin. Your presence, prayers, gifts, goodwill messages, and overwhelming show of love made the occasion truly memorable and joyful for our family. We are deeply touched by your kindness and support and do not take them for granted.”
He further prayed for God’s blessings upon all who celebrated with the family, asking that they be rewarded with good health, peace, prosperity, and many reasons to rejoice in their own homes.
Guests at the ceremony described the event as warm, colourful, and spiritually uplifting, noting that it provided an opportunity for friends and family members to come together in thanksgiving and celebration.
Several attendees congratulated the Aledare family on the arrival of their son and offered prayers for divine protection, wisdom, good health, and success for Master Oluwadunsin as he grows.
One of the guests, Rotarian Patience, Secretary of the Rotary Club of Ibadan Bodija Estate, expressed joy over the birth of the child and welcomed the newest addition to the Rotary family.
She said:
“This is a joyous occasion for us in the Rotary family as our family has grown. We thank God for the safe delivery of the baby and the good health of the mother. We pray that the Almighty God will continue to bless the family with the wisdom, strength, and resources needed to nurture this precious gift.”
The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the child, song rendition and dance with thanksgiving by the family, while guests were entertained and shared in the joy of the occasion.
For the Aledare family, the naming ceremony was not only a thanksgiving celebration to God Almighty for the arrival of a newborn child but also a testament to the love, goodwill, and unwavering support they continue to enjoy from family, friends, church members, and the wider community.
