….Says party has bounced back ahead of 2027 elections

The leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State and 2023 governorship candidate of the party, Chief Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, has congratulated the newly elected National Working Committee (NWC) of the party led by Abdulrahaman Mohammed and Senator Samuel Anyanwu, National Chairman and National Secretary, respectively.
Chief Odii who led Ebonyi Delegates to the 2026 elective National Convention of the PDP in Abuja notes that the election of the new NWC is a result of dogged struggle for adherence to constitutionalism and the rule of law.
Chief Odii specially felicitates the National Leader of the PDP, Barr Nyesom Wike who has stood firm to ensure that the PDP was not hijacked by selfish anti-democratic forces who were bent on sinking the PDP.
The Ebonyi State PDP leader also congratulates two sons of Ebonyi who have been elected into the national leadership of the party, Hon. Chidiebere Goodluck Egwu, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary and Mazi Moses Eze Idika, National Ex-Officio member.
Chief Odii notes that the PDP has effectively bounced back and ready for the next phase of Nigeria’s democratic process.
He pointed out that the convention has effectively returned the PDP to competitiveness ahead of the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
He disclosed that out of the 2,632 delegates from the 36 states and the FCT, Ebonyi produced 52 accredited delegates to the convention.
