Commissioning of the road in Nnobi.

In response to Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s call for individuals to join hands with the state government to develop the state, High Chief Emeka Agbanari has completed the construction of a 1 .4 kilometers road in Nnobi, Idemili South Local Government Area of the state.
The road which joins the Nkpor Road at one end and the Agulu Road at the other end, among other places in Umuegbu Ngo Nnobi is said to be one of the roads being constructed by Agbanari that has been completed in the community.
Commissioning the road, which has a one- side drainage and is yet to be named at press time on Tuesday evening, December 30, 2025 , High Chief Agbanari, popularly called Seaman after his company, Seaman Mining and Construction Company, said he constructed the road as part of his effort in serving humanity and God .
High Chief Agbanari, also identified as Ike Idemili lamented that the road was deplorable and devastated fifty-three years ago, an eyesore which drew his attention to construct it in tandem with best world-accepted standards.
” I am grateful to God who made this possible. I want to leave a legacy that people would remember me for when I am gone.
Fifty-three years ago this road was so devastated. I have a call to serve humanity. This is not the only road. There are others undergoing construction and yet to be commissioned”, High Chief Agbanari said.
The Mayor of Idemili South Local Government Area, Honorable Mrs. Amaka Obi, Honorable Ebuka Igwe the member representing Idemili South State Constituency in the state House of Assembly, Dr. Tochukwu Obiadi Anambra State Youth leader, Okuchukwu Ilogbenu, the Chair NGO Nnobi Development Union who lauded High Chief Agbanari in their separate remarks urged others to join hands with the government to develop the state.
Present on the occasion included His Royal Highness Nick Obi,the traditional Ruler of Nnobi, High Chief Onyechi Ifezue, the Okpala of Nnobi, DPO Nnobi Police Headquarters CSP Asadu Uchechukwu women groups, among others.
