The Public Relations Officer of Lagos State Command of Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC Superintendent Oluwaseun Abolurin has bagged 2025 PRO award.
The award was conferred on him at Defence summit ceremony held at the Nigeria National Merit Award House Maitama, Abuja last Wednesday.
The ceremony was organised by the chairman of organizing committee and publisher of security monitor magazine, Alhaji Isiaka Mustapha. It is an annual security Summit and recognition award.
The Summit tagged “No to Foreign Intervention Over Nigeria’s Security Challenges.”
In his keynote speech, Controller General of Federal Fire Service, Samuel Olomode called for institutional renewal as one of the relevant solutions to the security challenges in Nigeria.
Also the acting Commandant General Hillaryc, Kelechi Madu spoke at the ceremony.
The Summit brought crop of security services among them Defence Ministry, Police, NSCDC, Information, Orientation, Media and others.
Mustapha while presenting award to Lagos NSCDC PRO said the award is bestowed on him over his recognition on professionalism integrity coupled with tireless commitment to Public communication excellence within the NSCDC and his remarkable skill in managing information.
According to organiser, Abolurin’s leadership, humility and consistent service reflect the values of dedication and patriotism that inspire his colleagues and lift up the image of Corps nationwide.
