A wave of transformation and spiritual renewal went through the Expo Centre in Johannesburg on Friday, May 16, as thousands gathered for the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) South Africa Revival.
The event, led by Pastor Evelyn Joshua—wife of the late Prophet T.B. Joshua and current leader of SCOAN, was themed “Holy Spirit Visitation with Evelyn Joshua.”
The event drew attendees from across South Africa and neighbouring countries, all united in anticipation of a divine encounter.
Joined by a team of SCOAN evangelists, Pastor Joshua ministered messages of hope, healing, and restoration to an eager and expectant audience.
The atmosphere was charged with faith as many reported remarkable experiences of physical healing, emotional liberation, and spiritual breakthroughs.
Described by attendees as a day of divine visitation, the revival featured testimonies of what witnesses referred to as “supernatural manifestations” of God’s power. Individuals battling long-standing health conditions shared stories of immediate healing.
Others testified to deliverance from emotional burdens and freedom from generational challenges.
Among those who shared their stories was Andrew Makodi, who discarded his body brace after receiving healing from osteoarthritis.
Rebecca Mathoda, who travelled from Limpopo, spoke of her relief from chronic shoulder pain caused by persistent muscle spasms.
Mr. and Mrs. Jeyi recounted their emotional journey to healing from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, a condition that had affected their hopes for a complete family life.
Emma Sebatlelo, who had relied on crutches and leg braces due to severe joint issues, demonstrated her new mobility before a cheering crowd.
Similarly, Kgomotso Mothupi testified to freedom from pain caused by osteoarthritis in both knees.
According to attendees, the revival was a reminder of the impact of faith. “It was the Word that built our faith,” one testifier shared. “And that faith opened the door to a divine visitation.
”The service concluded with vibrant songs of praise and thanksgiving led by The SCOAN choir, leaving many in attendance visibly moved and inspired.
In addition, a cash donation of R100,000 was presented by Pastor Joshua to support the community’s welfare.
She encouraged the people with words of hope, assuring them of God’s unwavering love and provision. The woman of God also commissioned a portable water borehole for the use of the community, amid cheers and a loud ovation.
The outreach was welcomed with heartfelt cultural performances from a local dance group, who expressed gratitude for the support and acknowledged Pastor Joshua as a channel through whom their community had experienced renewed hope.
