The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has initiated the release of April 2025 maintenance funds to qualified student recipients nationwide.
According to a press release sent to Daily Champion and signed by Mrs. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, Director of Strategic Communications, most payments have been successfully processed.
However, a small number of beneficiaries might encounter a delay due to a recent system upgrade aimed at improving payment and application processing security and efficiency.
This upgrade, it said, is expected to facilitate smoother transactions in future payment cycles.
The statement explained that NELFUND is collaborating with relevant parties to promptly resolve these issues and ensure all eligible students receive their allowances without further delay.
The organization remains dedicated to transparency, operational excellence, and timely delivery of student support, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The fund appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all stakeholders as it continues to enhance service delivery for Nigerian students’ benefit.
