No sector left behind: Wike reassures as Residents praise Renewed Hope Agenda

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has reassured residents of Abuja on sectoral development, as he announced that no sector would be left behind, citing the renovation of over 60 schools as evidence of the administration’s commitment to education.

Wike reiterated that under the Renewed Hope Agenda, no community, sector, or Nigerian would be left behind, stressing that development is a collective effort that requires collaboration and support.

During the projects inspection tour on Friday, Wike highlighted the significance of purposeful leadership, citing the A2 to Pai Road project, which has been fitted with streetlights, as a testament to the administration’s commitment to rural infrastructure development.

“Road infrastructure is foundational,” Wike emphasized. “It unlocks everything, from education to healthcare, markets, and security. We’re committed to developing our roads, and you’ll see the impact in all sectors”, the Minister reassured.

This is sa Citizens of the Federal Capital Territory expressed their overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and FCT the Minister, Dr Nyesom Wike, citing the remarkable resurgence of infrastructure development across the city and its satellite towns.

Donning the slogan “Renewed Hope in Action,” residents enthusiastically cheered the Minister during a project inspection tour in Gwagwalada and Kwali Area Councils.

The residents, visibly thrilled, praised the Minister for his tireless efforts in transforming Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city. They commended President Tinubu for entrusting Mr. Wike with the responsibility of overseeing the FCT, acknowledging that the Renewed Hope Agenda is yielding tangible results.

“We’re delighted to associate ourselves with the ongoing transformation in Abuja,” one resident said. “The Renewed Hope Agenda is indeed working, and we’re grateful for the trust President Tinubu has placed in Wike.”

In response, Wike reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to delivering on its mandate, emphasizing that the visible impact of development projects across the FCT’s satellite areas demonstrates that hope is no longer just a promise but a lived experience.

“The joy of our residents is the most powerful indicator of government success,” Wike said. “When people are happy, it energizes us to do more. The Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a slogan; it’s a reality we’re living every day.”

“The result of the right leadership is evident in the projects we’re executing,” Wike said. “When the leader is focused and provides support, those working with him have no excuse not to deliver.”

The Minister also addressed concerns about the quality of projects, assuring residents that contractors would deliver high-standard work.

“The contractors know there’s no room for substandard work,” he said. “We’re committed to delivering quality projects that meet the needs of our residents.”
