Axxela Limited, a leading gas and power portfolio company in sub-Saharan Africa, has been honoured with the Outstanding Gas Company of the Year award in recognition of the company’s significant investments and contributions to the energy landscape in 2024.
The award, presented at the Energy Times Excellence Awards in Lagos on Friday, reflects Axxela’s commitment to expanding energy access for industries through vast investments in natural gas infrastructure development and an expansive pipeline network across regions, enabling industrial growth, and advancing Nigeria’s broader energy aspirations.
Commenting on the award, Timothy Ononiwu, Axxela’s Acting Group Chief Executive Officer, highlighted the award’s significance.
